On the 25th anniversary of the liberation of Shushi, the Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Association announces about its new Photo Project SHUSHI: 48 HOUR.
The goal of the project is to show the diversity of urban life in Shushi within 48 hours. The photos will include topics concerning health, judicial power, executive bodies, and ordinary citizen's life from child’s birth to death, doctor's hard work, celebrations etc. Nothing will dash from the lens of the photographers.
SHUSHI: 48 HOUR Photo Project will start on June 29, 2017.
The Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Association is planning to publish a trilingual photo-album consisting of photos taken in Shoushi within two days. The albums will be available to a wide circle of public in Armenia and abroad, and will let people know about the charming cultural capital of Artsakh, recognize and understand the people of Shushi and their urban life.
Young photographers Sona Adamian, Saro Baghdasarian, Ani Gevorgyan, Arthur Melikian, Narek Alexanyan, Nona Minasian, Arevik Tsatryan and Armine Vanyan participated in the project. Invited photographers from abroad will join them as part of the project.
SHUSHI: 48 HOUR Photo Project is carried out in cooperation with the renowned documentary photographer, Fifty Crows Foundation’s prizewinner, German Avagian.
